Mirza Ghalib was born to a Turkish family whose roots date back to royal ancestors.
At the age of thirteen, he was married into one of the noble family. His wife was very simple and conservative in nature. He was a prominent member in the Mughal emperor court. He was appointed as a tutor to the emperor and then to his eldest son.
Mirza Ghalib royal title includes the title of Najm-ud-daulah and Dabeer-ul-Mulk. It made him a royal person and Owing to these titles awarded by the then Mugual emperor, paved the way to Mirza Ghalib royalty. He did not work for anyone and earned his living. He was carefree and a rake at the court.
